What It Covers:
Helps enterprises co-fund consultancy and mentorship services. It aims to support businesses in implementing solutions for business transformation, focusing on areas like:
- Process optimization and operational excellence.
- Digital Transformation
- Product and service innovation.
- Energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
- Workforce upskilling.
- Digital marketing and business growth.
How Much Support:
The funding amount is capped at up to 90% of $30,000 per project.
- A SME* may receive up to 90% funding.
- A non-SME may receive up to 70% funding.
- Maximum of 3 projects per enterprise for funding support.
- * SMEs are companies with ≤ S$100M revenue or ≤ 200 employees.
Who’s Eligible:
Enterprises must fulfill the following criteria:
- Government agencies (including ministries and statutory boards),
- Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs)* and Non-SMEs registered and operating in Singapore.

The Mentorship Support Grant is one of the most generous and practical grants available today — offering up to 90% funding for SMEs and an impressive 70% for MNCs, a rare advantage in the grant landscape. Unlike most schemes that exclude larger companies, this grant supports both SMEs and MNCs in driving meaningful transformation. It goes beyond classroom training by including hands-on consultancy support for Proof-of-Concepts (POC) Projects, so your team not only learns but also implements real, impactful change.
Best of all, companies only need to pay the net amount after grant offset, significantly easing cash flow concerns and eliminating the common risk of delayed or failed grant disbursement.
What to Watch Out For:
Like all government grants, the Mentorship Support Grant is subject to approval before any project can commence — companies must not begin the project until formal approval is received. A strong application hinges on clearly scoping the project to demonstrate tangible productivity improvements and meaningful employee upskilling. Projects that lack clear outcomes or resemble routine business-as-usual activities may face challenges in securing approval.
Additionally, the project must be completed within six months from the start date, which may not be suitable for companies with longer implementation timelines or limited internal capacity.
Illustration Example
Let’s say the full fee for a business transformation project is $25,000.
If you’re an SME, you can receive 90% grant support. That means:
- SSG pays $22,500
- You only pay $2,500 out of pocket
If you’re a Government Agency or a Non-SME, you still get 70% support:
- SSG pays $17,500
- You only pay $7,500
